Beautiful Belle & a touch of Scotland
Stephen & Belle
3 June 2016 – Gledswood Estate
What a magical Winter wedding for the beautiful Belle and her true love Stephen at Gledswood Homestead & Winery. Stephen and his brother and best man Mark donned kilts in the Roberston clan colours as a nod to their heritage while Belle looked stunning as she walked down the aisle with her bridesmaids and father. Belle and Stephen's much loved fur babies Wednesday and Diesel had key roles, with Wednesday accompanying Belle down the aisle and Diesel performing ring bearer duties!
The beautiful music of acoustic duo Tom and Kate from White Clover provided the perfect backdrop to the wedding while a piper heralded the happy couple down the aisle at the end. A highlight was the pinning of the tartan ceremony in Scottish wedding tradition, with Stephen's Mum Kathy officially welcoming Belle to the family. Another highlight was Belle's and Stephen's grandmothers who were official witnesses. A very special wedding for a truly beautiful couple.
Planning a wedding is an incredible and, at times, challenging journey. Finding a celebrant who is professional, warm, eloquent, and personable can feel like an impossible task. The moment we met Louise, we very quickly realised she embodied all of these things and more. Kind, bright, and beautifully spoken; Louise put us completely at ease. She made us feel as though nothing was too much trouble, and was available consistently for any questions we might have. Louise went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process - even researching ways to help my wedding dress be more comfortable!
The ceremony Louise prepared and delivered was the highlight of our day. She put so much time and care into composing a love story which truly represented Stephen and I as a couple. Louise's meticulous planning and organisation meant that on the big day we were able to completely relax and lose ourselves in the moment; confident that everything would run effortlessly. We had so many guests comment to us not only how wonderful the ceremony was, but specifically how wonderful Louise was. We would do it all again with her in a heartbeat. We cannot thank her enough. Forever grateful.
